If you want to delay the delivery of all messages, you can have them held in the Outbox until the time you want them to go out by creating a rule. Then in the Properties windows under the Delivery options section check Do not deliver before and then plug in a future date and time to delay delivery and then close out of the window and then send the message. Select New Email to start composing your new email message and then click the Options tab on the ribbon and then Delay Delivery. Would this be possible on a Mac? Thanks so much. But my friends told me this only works if you have Office 365. I believe there's something called Delay Delivery. I have to send an email to my boss but it needs to go out later today. I have Outlook for Mac 2016 (I'm on a Mac OS Sierra with Microsoft Exchange).
In the Step 1: Select a template box, under Start from a Blank Rule, click Apply rule on messages I send, and then click Next. You can delay the delivery of all messages by up to two hours by creating a rule.
